of stone Stocks of stone are held from quarries all over Yorkshire and surrounding areas. Yorkshire stone offers a wide variety of colours and textures. There are white, yellow and cream limestones, grey and brown sandstones and the best known Yorkstone, the hard, fine grained buff Millstone Grit quarried in Huddersfield. |
