HWAM automatic™

The unique feature a HWAM wood-burning stove is it's automatic control of air supply for combustion. It is a system based on on a bi-metal coil (right) controlled aeration system which HWAM A/S have developed and patented. In practice, it functions like an car’s automatic transmission – the ideal aeration is automatically selected at any stage of combustion by the bi-metal coil regulating the air supply between the bottom (primary) air and the top (secondary) air.
