Jotul Contemporary Woodburning Stoves with Heat-storage
| The
Jotul F370 High Top woodburning stoves are a development
of the successful 370 series stoves. The addition of heat
storage material in the "high top" allows the
stove to store heat during bright-burning times and
release heat when the stove burns down. This gives a much
more even heat output to the room and allows the stove to
continue giving heat long after the fire has gone out. Acting as a "storage radiator" with as much as 12 hours extra heating, the High Top ensures a warm welcome in the morning. The High Top can be retrofitted onto selected 370 series stoves manufactured after May 2010. The difference between the Jotul 370 series models is in the base details. The massive heat storage blocks in
the high top capture and store heat from the stove. Air vents in the high top allow precise control of the rate of heat input to the room. When closed, heat circulates around the heat storage blocks. Opening the vents allows heat to escape into the room. |
